Eleven and the gang are back, but things aren't like they used to be...or are they?

Stranger Things Season 4: Welcome to California
Rejoice, Stranger Things fans! Netflix recently dropped a new teaser trailer for the hit show’s highly anticipated fourth season. The show will pick up right where we left off at the end of Season 3: Joyce makes good on her decision to move to California in order to give herself, Will, Jonathan, and Eleven a fresh start and a sense of normalcy following Hopper’s death (presumably).
The trailer starts with Eleven narrating a letter she wrote to Mike set to some very upbeat 80’s music and shots of a sunny and tranquil California. In her letter, she details how well she has adjusted to her new life and new school, insisting that she has made “lots of friends”. However, nothing could be further from the truth, as we see a miserable Eleven being bullied by her obnoxious classmates. But will she fight back, considering she lost her powers during the epic battle with The Mind Flayer in season 3? It’s hard to say how Will and Jonathan are taking to the move, as the trailer only provides a fleeting glance of them, but if we had to guess, they are probably as unhappy as Eleven is.
The trailer takes a dramatic turn when Eleven confidently states that the upcoming spring break she has planned with Mike, will be “the best ever”. We are then met with a montage of action packed snippets of guns a’ blazing, mysterious dolls, Eleven seemingly restrained by some shady men (what’s new?) and a major explosion.
That’s all that Netflix is divulging for now. We hope to get more details about the upcoming season but till then we must wait till its release in the summer of 2022!
