BTS' first collective English single has just debuted at the Number 1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. And now, we're all celebrating by lighting up the world like Dynamite!
After raking in four awards at the 2020 MTV VMAs, BTS has achieved yet another milestone in their illustrious careers. As Jungkook once mentioned in an interview, he wishes to lead the Billboard Hot 100. Well, he must have a genie or a fairy god mother somewhere, because wish granted and dream come true on his birthday!
The Billboard Hot 100 has built a reputation as one of the most acclaimed chart rankings for the most popular songs in the US across all genres based on radio airplay, streaming, and sales data. And just recently, they released the new lineup of the top 10 on the Hot 100 for the week of September 5 with BTS' "Dynamite" shining with a little funk and soul at the number one spot.
With an impressive 33.9 million U.S. streams, 300,000 sales in its premiere week, and over 266,000,000 views on Youtube (and counting), BTS' "Dynamite" has made a spectacular debut with their very first collective English single. This phenomenal feat has officially made the seven-strong the first all-Korean group to debut at the number one spot on the Billboard Hot 100.
"Dynamite" also reigns at the top spot on the Digital Song Sales Chart and on number 3 on the Streaming Songs Chart.
What can I say, ARMY? BTS is back and the whole world knows that they glow up! Congratulations, Bangtan Sonyeondan and ARMY! #Borahae
