The 2021 AMAs are bound to be smooth like butter!
Mark the date on your calendars everyone, because Cardi B is hosting the American Music Awards this year. November 21 is going to be a star-studded evening, as all the biggest stars get together for the world's largest fan-voted awards show.
BTS x 2021 AMAs
The AMAs this year will be held at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, and everyone is in high spirits about one of the biggest nights in the music industry.
It's safe to say that BTS' loyal fandom, ARMY, is particularly excited, as BTS is nominated for quite a few awards this year. Not to mention that they are set to perform their hit song, "Butter", with Megan Thee Stallion. Now that is one performance you wouldn’t want to miss!
Among other categories, BTS is nominated for the Artist of the Year award alongside artists like Ariana Grande, Taylor Swift, Olivia Rodrigo, The Weeknd, and Drake. Talk about great talent colliding for one starry night, right?
And the Nominees Are...
Aside from BTS making headlines, other artists have also been making waves with their fleet of nominations.
This year, Olivia Rodrigo has the most nominations and is also going to be making her debut performance on the award show. Along with her, Bad Bunny is returning to the AMA stage and has bagged five nominations.
Fresh off her release of "Red (Taylor's Version)", the queen of country pop, Taylor Swift, is also making a comeback with a nomination of Artist of the Year.
The lineup also features Carrie Underwood and Jason Andean performing a duet for “If I Didn’t Love You.”
